Lares Valley Circuit (4D / 3N)

A famous treks in the Sacred Valley of the Incas it´s explored in 4 days. You will view mountain ranges like: Sirihuani, Sahuasiray, Colque Cruz, Chicon, San Juan and many more. Likewise you will enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful lagoons , we will pass for ancient communities likes Cancha Cancha, Quishuarani, Wacahuasi where the farmers are friendly , the villages are build with stones and the roof of ichu (yellow grass). In the trek you can see different species of birds and flowers. the route is a nice and ancient trail used for the people of Vilcanota valley and Lares valley, where we have a nice campsite in the nice place near to hotsprings.

ITINERARY

The itinerary is as follows:

DAY 1: Cusco - Huarán (2950m) - Canchacancha (3900m)

Our first day we'll begin in the morning at 8 a.m. the bus pick you up in your hotel.. Two hours driving to the Sacred Valley of the Incas we'll arrive to Huaran an old country property called hacienda Huaran, since we will begin the trek we'll have beautiful landscapes of the valley ..five hours we'll spend today, the slope of this way is not very steep, we will arrive to Canchacancha, it's an ancient and small village, most houses are built with stones and the roof is of grass named ichu, small doors and window are the characteristic of the houses.. the people are friendly and use the typical clothes of red colors range, deshalb this people is called Huayruros..we'll spend this nigth surrounding the village.(L.D)

DAY 2: Canchacancha - Quishuarani - Lares

Following the trek this day we will walk up to the Pachacutec pass on 4600 m. This is the hardest day because we'll cross the highest pass called Pachacuteq, the trail is not very steep from this pass you will see the beautiful mountains like Sawasiray and Sirihuani also nice lakes as Azulqocha. After the pass we will continue walking down to Quishuarani and Lares where we'll camping and enjoy the hot springs (BLD)

DAY 3: Lares - Wacahuasijasa

Following the trip we'll pass Wacahuasi, another beautiful huayruros comunnity. After five hours walking we'll cross the pass called Wacahuasijasa on 4400m where we spend our last night enjoying a beautiful view of the Yanahuara valley (B.L.D)

DAY 4: Yanahuara - Urubamba- Cusco

After breakfast we'll trekking down in the Yanahuara valley, walking four hours we'll have our last lunch near to some corn farming and typical farmer's houses where our car will be waiting for us to return to Cusco. (B.L).
