Huayruro Trek (6D / 5N)

It is a new option of trek in the Urubamba mountain range, the idea is to connect the more important and ancient high Andean communities like Cancha Cancha, Quishuarani, Wacahuasi, Cuncani, Tastayoc, Patacancha, Huylloc where the local men are named huayruro. it´s explored in 6 days. You will see mountain ranges like: Sirihuani, Sahuasiray, Colque Cruz, Chicon, San Juan and many more. Likewise you will enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful lagoons, the farmers are friendly people , the villages are build with stones and the roof of plants of the area over 4000m. You should find some annimals like vizcacha, eagle, condor, trucha, fox, deer, llama, alpaca.

ITINERARY

The itinerary is as follows:

DAY 1: Cusco - Huarán (2950m) - Canchacancha (3900m)

Our first day begin in the morning at 8 a.m. the bus pick you up in your hotel.. Two hours driving to the Sacred Valley of the Incas we'll arrive to Huaran an ancient country property called hacienda Huaran, since we will begin the trek we'll have beautiful landscapes of the valley. . the slope of this way is not very steep, we will arrive to Canchacancha, it's an ancient and small village, most houses are built with stones and the roof is of grass named ichu, small doors and window are the characteristic of the houses.. the people are friendly and use typical red clothes, deshalb this people is called Huayruros..we'll spend this nigth surrounding the village. DAY 2: Canchacancha- Pachacutec pass (4600m) - Quishuarany ( 4000m) - Willquijasa pass (4200m)- Cuncani (4000m)

Following the trek this day we will walk up to the Pachacutec pass after we walk down to Quishuarany another beautiful Huayruro comunity after a rest we`ll ascend to Wilquijasa pass, this is not difficult, after that we`ll walking down to Cuncani This is the hardest day because we'll cross two high pass, the trail is not very steep from the first pass you will see the beautiful mountains like Sawasiray and Sirihuani also nice lakes.

DAY 3: Cuncani - Lares (hot springs) (3150m) - Wacahuasi

This small village is really beautiful a lot of childs will be close us with their typical clothes, we will prepare breakfast for them and you will have the oportunity to know them, after breakfast we will continue to Lares where we'll find hot springs. We will camping in Wacahuasi another typical native comunity on 3800m (D.L.B )

DAY 4: Wacahuasi (3800m) - Ipsayjasa pass(4500m) - Patacancha(3800m)

Following the trek we have to go to the next pass called Ipsayjasa on 4600m . all the time we will have beautiful landscapes mixing lakes and snow mountains. We will arrive to Patacancha after 6 hours walking ..Patacancha is located in the valley of Ollantaytambo this comunity is famous for its textile art and their people called also Huayruros this people are usually the porters in the clasical Inca trail, we will camping here.

DAY 5: Patacancha - Huacratanka pass (4800m) - Tastayoc( 4100m)

We offer to one more place to visit in our Huayruros trek for it is neccesary to arrive to Tastayoc another beautiful village located surrounding Veronica, Helancoma and Huacratanka snow mountains. We will spend 6 hours walking today.

DIA 6: Tastayoc - Urubamba - Cusco

Our last day we will spend visiting the comunity and driving to Cusco. Our last lunch will be in Urubamba valley. and continue to Cusco.
