Choquequiraw Trek (4D / 3N)

The second more important Inca City named Choquequirao is located in the Apurimac valley. Four days we'll enjoy an experience trek in front of the Vilcabamba mountain range you can see the highs mountains like Salkantay and Humantay, also the important river named Apurimac.

ITINERARY

The itinerary is as follows:

DAY 1: Cusco - Cachora(2900m) - Rosalina (1550m)

We leave from Cusco by private bus driving trough the Apurimac valley and surrounding the Andean mountains, after 3 hours we'll arrive to Cachora this is a small town since we begin our trek during 5 hours we continue walk- down to Rosalina it is locate close the Apurimac river where we'll spend our first night. DAY 2 : Rosalina - Choquequiraw

Early in the morning we'll continue the trek, ascending the Choquequirao hill passing for Santa Rosa and later to Choquequirao, we'll ,walk up 5 hours approximately for arrive to Choquequirao Inca building where we'll take a rest .(B.L.D).

DAY 3: Choquequiraw Inka building

In the morning we will have a guided visit in the Choquequirao fortress during 3 hours and you will have the rest of the morning. After lunch we'll begin the trail back to Chiquisca, this community is located in the middle of the hill since you can see the beautiful landscapes of the Apurimac river. We spend our last night in Chiquisca. (B.L.D).

DAY 4: Chiquisca(1950m) – Cachora - Cusco

This is a long day because we have to walk down to the Apurimac river and after walk up to Cachora, we'll spend 6 hours walking . We arrive to Cachora on 4 p.m. approximately. Where the bus will be waiting for us to continue to Cusco arriving on 8 p.m. ( .B.L).
